Anchorage Scottish Pipe Band myaspb.org

The Anchorage Scottish Pipe Band is the state’s oldest pipe band, formed in 1963. Over four decades, the band has performed for mayors, governors, Pope John Paul II and various charitable organizations.

The band’s tartan (MacKinlay), comes from its predecessor, the old McKinley Highlanders, under the command of Pipe Major, Frank Carroll.

Today the band is under the command of Pipe Major Tim Kincaid, performs at regular, annual events including the Alaska Scottish Highland Games, charitable and public events, and also plays for private parties and functions.
